Solar Rays, a poem

Solar Rays

pareidolic lunar faces
share a kiss in the telescope
forever greeting the sun
as its warm tendrils
drag shadows across
the cratered surface
a solar banyan transplanted
where fallen rain
lives only within
thoughts overturning dust
a sea of heated feldspar
whose waves meet no ocean
